HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Todd
4Anthony Hanneken of Decatur; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken was born in Decatur to Jerry and
6Vickie (St. Pierre) Hanneken on December 3, 1975; he graduated
7from Mt. Zion High School in 1994 and received his bachelor's
8degree in criminal justice sciences from Illinois State
9University in 1999; he married Michelle Jean "Shelley" Hillman
10on August 18, 2001; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken achieved his lifelong goal of
12becoming a second generation Illinois State Police Trooper in
13December of 2000 as a part of Cadet Class 100; he was assigned
14first to State Police District 15 in Downers Grove and then
15home to State Police District 10, Pesotum; he received several
16professional honors; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken was dedicated to his family and
18friends and served not just his family and friends but also his
19community of Mt. Zion and the entire State; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken was preceded in death by his
21grandparents, Paul and Evelyn Hanneken and Gerald St. Pierre;

2    WHEREAS, Todd Hanneken is survived by his wife of nearly
320 years, Shelley; his sons, Benjamin Anthony and Nicholas
4William; his parents; his brother, Chad (Mandy); his
5grandmother, Doris St. Pierre; his in-laws, Bill and Linda
6Westbrook and Greg Hillman; his sister-in-law, Wendy Boeke
7(Jim Judd); and his nieces and nephews, Cade Hanneken, Luke
8Hanneken, McKinleigh Killham, and Grace Boeke; therefore, be
9it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
11HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
12we mourn the passing of Todd Anthony Hanneken and extend our
13sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew
14and loved him; and be it further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Todd Hanneken as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
