2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1732, AS AMENDED, | ||||||
3 | with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment | ||||||
4 | No. 1, by replacing line 20 on page 14 through line 7 on page | ||||||
5 | 15 with the following: | ||||||
6 | " (d) A cemetery manager and customer service employee | ||||||
7 | license may be in active status only during the period that | ||||||
8 | such a licensee is employed by a cemetery authority that is | ||||||
9 | licensed under this Act. In the event that a cemetery manager | ||||||
10 | or customer service employee commences work for a cemetery | ||||||
11 | granted an exemption under this Section, it shall be a duty of | ||||||
12 | both the cemetery authority and the individual licensee to | ||||||
13 | immediately notify the Department so that the license may be | ||||||
14 | placed on inactive status. During the period that a license is | ||||||
15 | in inactive status, the involved person may not hold himself | ||||||
16 | or herself out as licensed. Upon returning to employment by a | ||||||
17 | cemetery licensed under this Act, such a cemetery manager or | ||||||
18 | customer service employee may reinstate the license to active |
