| 1 | | AN ACT concerning civil law.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Mobile Home Landlord and Tenant Rights Act |
| 5 | | is amended by adding Section 14.3 as follows:

| 6 | | (765 ILCS 745/14.3 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 14.3. Water supply requirement. If exigent |
| 8 | | circumstances arise, the park owner is responsible for |
| 9 | | providing a water supply to each household. The amount shall |
| 10 | | be determined based on the lower-range quantity of water |
| 11 | | needed for survival, per person, pursuant to the World Health |
| 12 | | Organization's guidelines. The park owner shall provide water |
| 13 | | following a 3-day period in which the normal supply of water is |
| 14 | | disrupted, and shall provide water for as long as the |
| 15 | | disruption in water service continues. |
| 16 | | This Section does not apply if the disruption of water |
| 17 | | service originates from factors outside the control of the |
| 18 | | mobile home park.
