SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Franklin Charles Lenberg of Moline,
4who passed away on April 5, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Franklin Lenberg was born in Kewanee to Peter and
6Mary (Rittenhouse) Lenberg on September 29, 1936; he served in
7the U.S. Navy; he married Lila Springer in Gibson City in 1968;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Franklin Lenberg worked for the National Licorice
10Company; he later retired from the J.C. Penney Company in
11Moline; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Franklin Lenberg was a former member of the
13Gospel Temple in Moline and the Open Bible Church in East
14Moline; he enjoyed going to flea markets, reminiscing, and
15sharing stories; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Franklin Lenberg was preceded in death by his
17parents; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Franklin Lenberg is survived by his wife, Lila;
19his son, Todd Lenberg; and his many beloved in-laws and
20friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Franklin Charles Lenberg and extend our sincere condolences to
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Franklin Lenberg as an expression
8of our deepest sympathy.
