SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Randy Hellmann of Carlyle, who passed
4away on March 13, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann was born to Beverly Hellmann and
6Daniel Brassel in Breese on November 5, 1962; he married Lisa
7Vogel in Bartelso on May 10, 1986; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann retired from the Illinois
9Department of Corrections after 32 years of service; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Currently, Randy Hellmann served as the staff
11representative for AFSCME Council 31; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann loved being outdoors with his
13family; he was also a talented taxidermist who loved sharing
14his trophies with family and friends; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann was preceded in death by his son,
16Matthew Hellmann; his father; his father-in-law, James Vogel;
17his grandmother, Vernell Hellmann; and his uncle, Gordon
18Hellmann; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Randy Hellmann is survived by his wife; his son,

1Michael Hellmann; his grandson, Joshua Hellmann; his mother;
2his two brothers, Kirk (Vicki) Holtmann and Nathan (Amy)
3Holtmann; his mother-in-law, Jeanette Vogel; his
4brother-in-law, Jeff (Geralyn) Vogel; and his aunts and
5uncles, Garry and Anne Hellmann, Leroy and Carolyn Hellmann,
6and Sandy Hellmann; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Randy Hellmann and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Randy Hellmann as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
