SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Shomari Tau "Chee Chee" Page of
4Decatur, who passed away on July 11, 2021; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Shomari Page was born to Marian Page in Decatur
6on October 13, 1976; he attended MacArthur High School; he
7later obtained his associate's degree in Business from Ivy
8Tech; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Shomari Page loved a good barbecue, cooking for
10his family, and making sure every moment spent with his family
11was special; he also loved life, cars, and fashion; he will be
12dearly missed; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Shomari Page was preceded in death by his
14grandparents, Ozona and Marion "Sonny" Page, and his son,
15Shomari Sincere Page; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Shomari Page is survived by his life partner,
17Sarah Schollenbruch; his children, Shaelyn Page, Shomiah Page,
18and Karl Coleman; his mother, Marian Page; his sisters, Sasha
19Riley, LaShandia Adadevoh, and Kimberly Holt; his brother,
20Chris Holt; a host of special cousins, Sonny, Rob, Keylee,
21Yancy, Trey, and Mikey; his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,

1cousins, and friends; his mother-in-law, Sharon; his
2brother-in-law, Shawn; and his grandmother-in-law, GG;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Shomari Tau "Chee Chee" Page and extend our sincere
7condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
8him; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Shomari Page as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
