SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Ruby Aud of Wood River, who passed
4away on May 10, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ruby Aud was born to William and Alta (Cox)
6Patton in Omaha on April 2, 1930; she married Raymond A. "Ray"
7Aud in Olney on June 19, 1946, and he preceded her in death on
8July 3, 2017; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ruby Aud was employed as an inspector at Olin
10Winchester for 30 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ruby Aud was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at
12the Cottage Hills VFW Post #7678; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ruby Aud enjoyed spending time with her family,
14traveling, and gaming; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ruby Aud was preceded in death by her parents;
16her husband; her grandson, Ryan Aud; her brothers, Gene,
17Ernie, and William "Red"; and her sisters, Ovella, Marie, and
18Dorothy; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Ruby Aud is survived by her daughters, Sandy

2Aud; her grandchildren, Trina (Tyler) Behr, Rachelle (Jim)

4(fiance, Kelsey Deaton) Aud, and Mazey Aud; her
5great-grandchildren, Drew, Ryan, Brynn, Cooper, Caden, Easton,
6Lexi, Seth, and Audrey; her great-great-grandson, Archie; her
7great-great-grandchild on the way; her many nieces and
8nephews; her extended family; and her friends; therefore, be

10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Ruby Aud and extend our sincere condolences to her family,
13friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Ruby Aud as an expression of our
16deepest sympathy.
