SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Trudle Baughn of Milan, who passed
4away on August 2, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Trudle Baughn was born in Sulligent, Alabama to
6Dee and Mary (Wilson) Baughn on December 1, 1932; he married
7Arnell Gosa in Gattman, Mississippi on September 30, 1952; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Trudle Baughn served in the U.S. Army for two
9years before serving over 20 years in the National Guard,
10retiring in 1994; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Trudle Baughn enjoyed lawn maintenance, painting,
12being outdoors, gardening, and playing the guitar; above all
13else, he loved spending time with his family, especially his
14grandchildren; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Trudle Baughn was preceded in death by his wife,
16Arnell; his daughter, Kathy Muller; his son, Anthony Baughn;
17his granddaughter, Jerri Michelle Carlton; his sisters, Louise
18Blaylock, Lucille "Tommy" Rhudy, and Sylvia Johnson; his
19brothers, Claudie Baughn, Troy "Dude" Baughn, and Jim Baughn;
20and his half brother, Lloyd "Hoss" Glover; and

1    WHEREAS, Trudle Baughn is survived by his children and
2their spouses, Jerry and Nancy Baughn, Elizabeth and Ken
3Williams, Theresa Serrano, Ted Baughn, Donna and Randy Bryant,
4Tammy Baughn and Brian Huber, and David Muller; many
5grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his sister, Nancy
6Baker; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Trudle Baughn and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Trudle Baughn as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
