SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Henry Vincent Burns III, who passed
4away on November 3, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Henry Burns was born to Marjorie (Seaver) and
6Henry V. Burns II in St. Louis, Missouri on May 29, 1945; he
7graduated from Alleman High School and Black Hawk College; he
8served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army in Vietnam; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Henry Burns worked in HVAC; he retired as a
10construction administrator from the St Louis office of KJWW;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Henry was an avid golfer and a St. Louis
13Cardinals fan; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Henry Burns was preceded in death by his parents;
15his first wife, Bonnie; and his sister, Kathi Tiechne; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Henry Burns is survived by his wife, Karen; his
17children, Jason (Amy) Burns, Tim (Alicia) Burns, Daniel (Elsa)
18Impens, and Scott (Tera) Impens; his grandchildren, Connor
19Burns, Ava Burns, Ashton Burns, Isabella Impens, Elin Impens,
20Katherine Impens, Abigail Papke, and Zachary Papke; his

1sibling, Thomas (Rita) Burns; his in-laws, Jac Tiechner, David
2(Sharyn) Stockdale, and Joan Stockdale; and his many other
3relatives and friends; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Henry Vincent Burns III and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Henry Burns as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
