SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants of $50,000 each to school districts for the purchase of electric school buses. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants of $50,000 each to school districts for the purchase of electric school buses.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
