SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $750,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for evidence-based funding provided for in Section 18-8.15 of the School Code. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $750,000,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for evidence-based funding provided for in Section 18-8.15 of the School Code.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2023.
