3 | | with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment |
4 | | No. 3, on page 1, line 5, by replacing "Section 12" with |
5 | | "Sections 3.145, 3.365, and 12"; and |
6 | | on page 1, immediately below line 6, by inserting the |
7 | | following: |
8 | | "(415 ILCS 5/3.145) (was 415 ILCS 5/3.05) |
9 | | Sec. 3.145. Community water supply. "Community water |
10 | | supply" means a public water supply which serves or is |
11 | | intended to serve at least 15 service connections used by |
12 | | residents or regularly serves at least 25 residents for the |
13 | | purpose of drinking, and which serves or is intended to serve |
14 | | at least 50 service connections or regularly serves at least |
15 | | 100 residents for the purpose of general domestic use . |
16 | | "Non-community water supply" means a public water supply |

2 | | Act shall not apply to non-community water supplies. |

5 | | Sec. 3.365. Public water supply. "Public water supply" |
6 | | means all mains, pipes and structures through which water is |
7 | | obtained and distributed to the public, including wells and |
8 | | well structures, intakes and cribs, pumping stations, |
9 | | treatment plants, reservoirs, storage tanks and appurtenances, |
10 | | collectively or severally, actually used or intended for use |
11 | | for the purpose of furnishing water for drinking or general |
12 | | domestic use and which serve at least 15 service connections |
13 | | or which regularly serve at least 25 persons at least 60 days |
14 | | per year. "Public water supply" also includes all mains, |
15 | | pipes, and structures through which water is obtained and |
16 | | distributed to the public, including wells and well |
17 | | structures, intakes and cribs, pumping stations, treatment |
18 | | plants, reservoirs, storage tanks and appurtenances, |
19 | | collectively or severally, actually used or intended for use |
20 | | for the purpose of furnishing water for general domestic use |
21 | | and which serve at least 50 service connections or which |
22 | | regularly serve at least 100 persons at least 120 days per |
23 | | year. A public water supply is either a "community water |
24 | | supply" or a "non-community water supply". |
