| 3 | replacing lines 9 through 13 with the following:

| 4 | ""Quality date" means a date on a label affixed to the | ||||||
| 5 | packaging or a container of food that communicates to | ||||||
| 6 | consumers the date after which the food quality may begin to | ||||||
| 7 | deteriorate but the food may still be acceptable for | ||||||
| 8 | consumption."; and | ||||||
| 9 | on page 2, by replacing lines 22 through 26 with "shall be | ||||||
| 10 | deposited into the Food and Drug Safety Fund.".
