2 | | WHEREAS, It is highly fitting that the Illinois General |
3 | | Assembly pays honor and respect to truly great individuals who |
4 | | have served our country and, in doing so, have made the |
5 | | ultimate sacrifice for our nation; and
|
6 | | WHEREAS, Lance Cpl. Kleiboeker was assigned to the 2nd |
7 | | Combat Engineer Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, based at Camp |
8 | | Lejeune, North Carolina; he was raised in Odin, which is |
9 | | located 148 miles south of Springfield just south of |
10 | | Centralia; he graduated from Odin High School, a school of |
11 | | less than one hundred students, in 2001 where he was an Honor |
12 | | Roll student; and

13 | | WHEREAS, Lance Cpl. Kleiboeker enjoyed hunting and fishing |
14 | | and chose to serve his country by pursuing a lifelong dream of |
15 | | becoming a Marine; he planned to go to college before officers |
16 | | school; and
|
17 | | WHEREAS, The passing of Lance Cpl. Nicholas Brian |
18 | | Kleiboeker will be deeply felt by all who knew him, including |
19 | | his mother, Teresa Clark, his father, Gary Kleiboeker, his |
20 | | father's wife, Sheryl, his sisters, Jessica, Jennifer, and |
21 | | Brittany, and his brothers, JR, JD, Shane, and Samuel; |
