HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives wish to recognize Chief Mary Frake of the Lake
4in the Hills Police Department on the occasion of her
5retirement; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Chief Frake has served as a beacon of integrity
7and leadership within the Lake in the Hills Police Department
8in McHenry County since 1994; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Chief Frake began her illustrious career as a
10patrol officer, walking the beat and ensuring the safety of
11neighborhoods in Lake in the Hills with diligence and
12compassion; and
 
13    WHEREAS, While serving as investigator and co-commander of
14the McHenry County Major Investigations Assistance Team, Chief
15Frake demonstrated exceptional investigative skills and a
16relentless pursuit of justice, solving complex cases and
17bringing closure to victims and their families; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Chief Frake was promoted to her current position
19within the Lake in the Hills Police Department in 2021; during
20her tenure, she has provided visionary leadership, implemented
21innovative strategies, and fostered positive community

1relations; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Throughout her distinguished career, Chief Frake
3has exemplified the highest standards of professionalism,
4integrity, and honor, earning the respect and admiration of
5colleagues, subordinates, and citizens alike; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Chief Frake has announced plans for her
7well-deserved retirement, marking the conclusion of an
8exceptional career after 30 years of dedicated service;
9therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
11HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
12we recognize Chief Mary Frake of the Lake in the Hills Police
13Department on her retirement, and we thank her for her
14outstanding service, unwavering dedication, and invaluable
15contributions to the safety and well-being of her community;
16and be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That we wish her a joyous and fulfilling
18retirement; and be it further
 
19    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20presented to Chief Frake as an expression of our esteem and
21respect.
