HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Eric
4Maurice Clements of Peoria, who passed away on August 27,
52024; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Eric Clements was born to Pearlie (Corder)
7Clements and John E. Ford in Peoria on November 12, 1970; he
8attended Manual High School; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Eric Clements worked as a telemarketer at Luebke
10Baker and Associates, Inc. in Peoria; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Eric Clements was passionate about comedy and was
12a comedian; he was also passionate about fashion and loved
13shopping; he was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Eric Clements was preceded in death by his
15mother; his grandmother who raised him, Pearlie (Johnson)
16Clements; his brother, Domonique Alexander; and his paternal
17grandparents, Charlie and Lillie Alexander; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Eric Clements is survived by his father, John
19(Michelle) Ford; his son, Isiaha "Zeek" (Monica Gibbs)
20Brassfield; his brothers, Warren (Georgia Davenport) Clements,

1Larry (Breona) Bynum, Demetrius (Lisa) Clements, Jonathan
2(Marie) Bynum, John Michael Ford, and Pierre Glenn; his
3sisters, Monique Hendon, Latechia McBride, Toya Sanders,
4Kentyetta Irby, Sentyra Glenn, and Schmicka Glenn; his
5favorite cousins, Kanisha (Frank) Clements-Baskerville, Tameca
6(Darrel) Wilkerson, and Germain (Samaritan) Tyler; his aunts
7who also helped raise him, Patricia (Gerald) Compton and
8Hattie Clements; and a host of nieces, nephews, other
9relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
11HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
12we mourn the passing of Eric Maurice Clements and extend our
13sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew
14and loved him; and be it further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Eric Clements as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
