| 4 | 1, on page 7, line 13, before "Violations", by inserting "The | ||||||
| 5 | Department may take disciplinary action against a medication | ||||||
| 6 | aide, including, but not limited to, suspension or revocation | ||||||
| 7 | of the medication aide's certification, for gross | ||||||
| 8 | negligence."; and | ||||||
| 9 | on page 7, immediately below line 19, by inserting the | ||||||
| 10 | following: | ||||||
| 11 | "(u) To ensure transparency and the well-being of | ||||||
| 12 | residents, a facility is required to provide information about | ||||||
| 13 | medication administration via certified medication aides in | ||||||
| 14 | its admission agreements so that residents and their families | ||||||
| 15 | understand the addition of certified medication aides as | ||||||
| 16 | members of the healthcare team."; and | ||||||
