3 | with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. | ||||||
4 | 1, on page 7, line 13, before " Violations ", by inserting " The | ||||||
5 | Department may take disciplinary action against a medication | ||||||
6 | aide, including, but not limited to, suspension or revocation | ||||||
7 | of the medication aide's certification, for gross | ||||||
8 | negligence. "; and | ||||||
9 | on page 7, immediately below line 19, by inserting the | ||||||
10 | following: | ||||||
11 | " (u) To ensure transparency and the well-being of | ||||||
12 | residents, a facility is required to provide information about | ||||||
13 | medication administration via certified medication aides in | ||||||
14 | its admission agreements so that residents and their families | ||||||
15 | understand the addition of certified medication aides as | ||||||
16 | members of the healthcare team. "; and |
