| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2637 on page 3, by | ||||||
| 3 | replacing lines 4 through 16 with the following: | ||||||
| 4 | "(a) Beginning January 1, 2027, a person or entity shall | ||||||
| 5 | not manufacture a food product for human consumption that | ||||||
| 6 | contains any of the following substances: | ||||||
| 7 | (1) Brominated vegetable oil (Chemical Abstract | ||||||
| 8 | Services number 8016-94-2). | ||||||
| 9 | (2) Potassium bromate (Chemical Abstract Services | ||||||
| 10 | number 7758-01-2). | ||||||
| 11 | (3) Propylparaben (Chemical Abstract Services number | ||||||
| 12 | 94-13-3). | ||||||
| 13 | (4) Red dye 3 (Chemical Abstract Services number | ||||||
| 14 | 16423-68-0). | ||||||
| 15 | (b) Beginning January 1, 2028, a person or entity shall | ||||||
| 16 | not sell, deliver, distribute, hold, or offer for sale a food | ||||||
| 17 | product for human consumption that contains any of the | ||||||
| 18 | substances listed in paragraphs (1) through (4) of subsection | ||||||

| 1 | (a). | ||||||
| 2 | (c) A person or entity that violates subsection (a) or (b) | ||||||
| 3 | shall"; and | ||||||
| 4 | on page 3, line 22, by replacing "(c)" with "(d)". | ||||||
