SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Earl C. LeGrand of Florissant, 
4Missouri, who passed away on May 1, 2023; and
  
 
  
5    WHEREAS, Earl LeGrand was born on October 11, 1958, and he 
6was raised in Florissant, Missouri; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Earl LeGrand was a hard-working man and a  
8skilled, experienced professional who spent more than 40 years 
9in the trucking business, including with Dayton Freight; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Earl LeGrand  enjoyed fishing and loved hunting; 
11he also enjoyed spending time with nearby friends and family; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Earl LeGrand was a reliable and outgoing man 
14known for his lively personality; he was a great friend who 
15could be counted on to offer help when it was needed; he was a 
16devoted and attentive father who supported his children's 
17endeavors and instilled in them a strong work ethic; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Earl LeGrand is survived by his daughter, Amy 
19Marie LeGrand, and his son, Corbin Michael LeGrand; therefore,

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Earl C. LeGrand and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Earl LeGrand as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
