SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Barbara Ann "Barb" Eilken O'Toole, who 
4passed away on August 20, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Barb O'Toole was born to Leroy and Shirley Eilken 
6in Des Plaines on April 27, 1962; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Barb O'Toole worked in  numerous different 
8professions; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Barb O'Toole was a mother, grandmother, and 
10friend whose family meant everything to her; she will be 
11remembered for always putting others before herself and 
12serving as a voice of reason; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Barbara O'Toole was preceded in death by her 
14parents; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Barbara O'Toole was the wife of Christopher 
16O'Toole for 35 years; the mother of  Ericka (Josh), Kyle 
17(Meghan), Brianna (Brian), and Brooke; the grandmother of 
18Dakota, Tyler, Dane, and Kinsley; and the sister of  Gerry, 
19Randy, Linda, Kevin, and Scott; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

3Barbara Ann "Barb" Eilken O'Toole and extend our sincere

4condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved

5her; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

7presented to the family of Barb O'Toole as an expression of
our 
8deepest sympathy.
