SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Tyrone Howard Allen of Peoria, who
4passed away on August 5, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tyrone Allen was born in Chicago to Albert Jr.
6and Charlotte (Lytle) Allen on August 28, 1957; he was later
7adopted by Clarence and Germaine Faucett; he married Arnetta
8Simmons in Peoria on August 26, 2000; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Tyrone Allen had a passion for cars, which
10included drag racing, building model cars, and cleaning and
11working on cars; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Tyrone Allen was a very social person and a big
13family man; he was a great cook and loved being and working in
14his yard; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Tyrone Allen was preceded in death by his
16parents; his grandparents; his sisters, Yvette Allen and Diana
17Faucett; his brother, Andre Allen; and his grandson, Jayden
18Ashford; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Tyrone Allen is survived by his wife, Arnetta;
20his daughter, Shar'don (Gregory) Young; his special daughter,

1Samantha Robinson; his grandchildren, Jordan and Olivia
2Ashford; his sisters, Donna (Jessie) Shack, Robin Patton,
3Shrecee Lewis, and Virginia Usher; his brothers, Darnell
4Patton, Antoinne Patton, Clarence Faucett Jr., and Raymond
5Riley; his uncle, Richard Lytle; numerous nieces and nephews;
6and three special friends, Daniel Simons, Lester Wayne Hudson,
7and James Rutherford; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Tyrone Howard Allen and extend our sincere condolences to his
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Tyrone Allen as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
