SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to the Illinois Assistive Technology Project for the establishment and operation of a comprehensive statewide program that loans assistive technology devices to individuals with disabilities residing in this State. Effective July 1, 2004.

    AN ACT making appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The sum of $1,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to the Illinois Assistive Technology Project for the establishment and operation of a comprehensive statewide program that loans assistive technology devices to individuals with disabilities residing in this State.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2004.
