Appropriates money from the Capital Development Fund to the Office of the Secretary of State for construction, alterations, and maintenance at certain facilities under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of State. Effective July, 1, 2004.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

  Section 5.  The following amounts, or so much of these amounts as may be necessary, are appropriated from the Capital Development Fund to the Office of the Secretary of State for new construction and alterations and maintenance of the interiors and exteriors of the following facilities under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of State: Chicago West Facility, 5301 N. Lexington Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60644; Chicago North Facility, 5401 N. Elston Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60630; Charles Chew Jr. Facility, 9901 S. King Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60628; and Capitol Complex buildings located in Springfield, Illinois.

 

  Repair Water Infiltration Problems,

    Herndon building............................ $1,000,000

  Replace Fire Alarm System,

    Dirksen Parkway facility....................... 250,000

  New Water Service, State power Plant............. 100,000

  Replace Roof, Chicago South...................... 750,000

  Structural & Water Infiltration Study,

    Underground Parking Ramp....................... 500,000

  Replace Emergency Generators, Chicago facilities. 750,000

  Abatement of the NE Pipe Chase, Howlett building.. 50,000

  Abatement of the ACM tile and New Carpet,

    Herndon building................................ 50,000

  Abatement of the HVAC Piping Old Library Space,

    Howlett building................................ 75,000

  Abatement of HVAC Piping Westinghouse tunnel,

    Capitol building................................ 50,000

  Abatement of Mechanical rooms, Ceilings, HVAC piping,

    & Floor Tile, 8th floor Stratton Office building 750,000

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2004.
