AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1030

2     AMENDMENT NO. ____. Amend House Bill 1030 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4     "Section 5. The Director of Agriculture, on behalf of the
5 State of Illinois, is authorized to exchange certain real
6 property in Perry County, Illinois, hereinafter referred to as
7 Parcel 1, for certain real property in Perry County, Illinois,
8 hereinafter referred to as Parcel 2, with the NOTFA Land Trust
9 #1, such Parcels being described as follows:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
13     A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
14     Section 29, Township 6 South, Range 1 West of the Third
15     Principal Meridian, Perry County, Illinois

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
18     Commencing at the Southwest Corner of the said Northwest
19     Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence Easterly along the
20     South line of the said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast
21     Quarter a distance of 62.62 feet to an iron rebar found in
22     the East Right-of-Way line of U.S. Route 51; thence
23     Northerly along the said East Right-of-Way said line being
24     60 feet Easterly of the centerline of U.S. Route 51 a

1     distance of 854.56 feet to an iron rebar found being the
2     point of beginning for this description; from said point of
3     beginning continuing Northerly along said Right-of-Way

6     along the proposed South Right-of-Way line of Bob Green
7     Drive with a deflection angle of 90 degrees 24 minutes 35

23     line of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 20, a
24     distance of 1132.54 feet, to the point of beginning for the
25     tract herein described; thence continuing S 00 degrees 02
26     minutes 14 seconds E, along the West line of the NW 1/4 of

8     degrees 29 minutes 05 seconds W, a distance of 38.74 feet,
9     to an iron pin; thence S 89 degrees 03 minutes 07 seconds
10     W, a distance of 154.42 feet, to the point of beginning,
11     containing 8.80 acres, more or less.
 
12     Section 10. Whereas, the transaction described in Section 5
13 will be to the mutual advantages of both parties, each party
14 shall be responsible for any and all title costs associated
15 with their respective properties.
 
16     Section 15. The Director of Agriculture shall obtain an
17 opinion of title from the Illinois Attorney General certifying
18 that the State of Illinois will receive merchantable title to
19 the real property referred to as Parcel 2 in Section 5.
 
20     Section 20. The Director of Agriculture shall obtain a
21 certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
22 title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the appropriate
23 Sections containing the land descriptions of property to be
24 transferred, and this Section within 60 days after this Act's
25 effective date and, upon receipt of payment or other
26 consideration required by the appropriate Sections, shall
27 record the certified document in the Recorder's office in the
28 county in which the land is located.
 
29     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
30 becoming law.".
