    Amends the Real Property Conservation Rights Act. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning conveyance of conservation rights.

1     AN ACT concerning property.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Real Property Conservation Rights Act is
5 amended by changing Section 2 as follows:
 
6     (765 ILCS 120/2)  (from Ch. 30, par. 402)
7     Sec. 2. Any owner of real property in this State may convey
8 a conservation right in that such real property to the United
9 States or any agency of the federal government an agency of the
10 State, to a unit of local government, or to a not-for-profit
11 corporation or trust whose primary purposes include the
12 conservation of land, natural areas, open space or water areas,
13 or the preservation of native plants or animals, or biotic
14 communities, or geographic formations of scientific,
15 aesthetic, or educational interest, or the preservation of
16 buildings, structures or sites of historical, architectural,
17 archeological or cultural significance.
18     No conveyance of the such conservation rights shall take
19 effect until the such conveyance is accepted by the grantee.
20 Acceptance of the such conservation rights may be conditioned
21 upon any requirements that which are deemed proper by the
22 grantee. The Such requirements may include the payment of funds
23 by the grantor to provide for the management of the such
24 conservation rights.
