AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3085

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3085 on page 3,
3 line 5, by deleting "(i)"; and
 
4     on page 3, by replacing lines 7 through 13 with the
5 following:
6 "any other privilege recognized by State or federal law.
7 Nothing"; and
 
8 on page 4, line 25, by deleting "in nature"; and
 
9 on page 7, line 11, by replacing "may retain" with "may, with
10 the approval of the Attorney General, retain"; and
 
11 on page 7, by replacing lines 14 through 21 with the following:
12 "subsection (a-5)."; and
 
13 on page 20, by replacing lines 33 and 34 with the following:
14 "the visibility or electronic image recording of the plate.
15     (c) A violation of this Section is a petty offense. A fine
16 of $750 shall be imposed if a plate cover obstructs the
17 visibility or electronic image recording of the plate. A fine
18 of $1,000 shall be imposed if a plate has been physically
19 altered with any chemical or reflective substance or coating
20 that obstructs the visibility or electronic image recording of
21 the plate.
