SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

      Appropriates $2,000,000 for fiscal year 2005 as a lump sum from the Wildlife and Fish Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for the purposes of Personal Services, State Contributions to Social Security, State Contributions to State Employees' Retirement System, and Group Insurance.  Provides that these amounts must be expended to immediately reinstate the 89 employees laid off by the Department due to a budgetary shortfall. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. For fiscal year 2005, in addition to all other amounts appropriated for these purposes, the amount of $2,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated as a lump sum from the Wildlife and Fish Fund to the Department of Natural Resources for the purposes of Personal Services, State Contributions to Social Security, State Contributions to State Employees' Retirement System, and Group Insurance.  The amounts appropriated under this Section must be expended to immediately reinstate the 89 employees laid off by the Department due to a budgetary shortfall.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
