SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $4,500,000 from the General Revenue Fund as follows: (1) $3,000,000 to the Early Intervention Services Revolving Fund for a 3% cost-of-doing-business increase for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, developmental therapy, and service coordination at the Department of Human Services for payment for early intervention services; and (2) $1,500,000 to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, for a 3% cost-of-doing-business increase for providers of each of the following services in connection with the provision of therapy services: physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy funded by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services. Effective January 1, 2006.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. In addition to any other amounts heretofore appropriated for these purposes, the sum of $4,500,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund as follows:
(1) $3,000,000 to the Early Intervention Services Revolving Fund for a 3% cost-of-doing-business increase for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, developmental therapy, and service coordination at the Department of Human Services for payment for early intervention services.
(2) $1,500,000 to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, for a 3% cost-of-doing-business increase for providers of each of the following services in connection with the provision of therapy services: physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy funded by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January 1, 2006.
