SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $300,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for personnel and support expenses and grants associated with the Suicide Prevention, Education, and Treatment Act. Appropriates $300,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for grants to suicide prevention pilot programs. Appropriates $100,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for additional personnel and support expenses at the Department relating to the administration of the Suicide Prevention, Education, and Treatment Act. Effective July 1, 2006.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The amount of $300,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for personnel and support expenses and grants associated with the Suicide Prevention, Education, and Treatment Act.

 

    Section 10. The amount of $300,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for grants to suicide prevention pilot programs.

 

    Section 15. The amount of $100,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for additional personnel and support expenses at the Department relating to the administration of the Suicide Prevention, Education, and Treatment Act.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2006.
