Appropriates $14,000,000 to the Department of Public Health for a Pandemic Influenza Community Preparedness Grant Program.  Effective July 1, 2006.

$DPH-INFLUENZA PREPAREDNESS

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The amount of $14,000,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public Health for a Pandemic Influenza Community Preparedness Grant Program, to be distributed to State certified local public health departments based on population and risk.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2006.
