| AN ACT in relation to firearms.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Firearm Owners Identification Card Act is |
| 5 |
| amended by adding
Section 3.3 as follows:
|

| (430 ILCS 65/3.3 new)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 3.3. Report to the local law enforcement agency. The |
| 8 |
| Department of
State Police must report the name and address
of |
| 9 |
| a person to the local law enforcement agency where the person |
| 10 |
| resides if the
person attempting to purchase a firearm is |
| 11 |
| disqualified from purchasing a
firearm because of information |
| 12 |
| obtained
under Section 3.1 that would disqualify the person |
| 13 |
| from obtaining a Firearm Owner's Identification Card under any |
| 14 |
| of subsections (c) through (n) of Section 8 of this Act.
