2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 596 on page 1, line | ||||||
3 | 5, by replacing "32-5.4 and 32-5.5" with "32-5.4, 32-5.5, | ||||||
4 | 32-5.6, and 32-5.7"; and | ||||||
5 | on page 1, immediately below line 14, by inserting the | ||||||
6 | following:

7 | "(720 ILCS 5/32-5.6 new)

8 | Sec. 32-5.6. False personation of an emergency management | ||||||
9 | worker. A person who knowingly and falsely represents himself | ||||||
10 | to be an emergency management worker of any jurisdiction in | ||||||
11 | this State or of the American Red Cross commits a Class 4 | ||||||
12 | felony. | ||||||
13 | (720 ILCS 5/32-5.7 new)

14 | Sec. 32-5.7. Aggravated false personation of an emergency | ||||||
15 | management worker. A person who knowingly and falsely | ||||||
16 | represents himself to be an emergency management worker of any | ||||||
17 | jurisdiction in this State or of the American Red Cross in | ||||||
18 | attempting or committing a felony commits a Class 3 felony. ".
