SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 		













20 ILCS 205/205-16 new










    Amends the Department of Agriculture Law.  Provides that the Department of Agriculture shall conduct a public information  campaign for farmers on the protocols to be followed when a farmer encounters a suspected site in which methamphetamine is being manufactured.  Effective July 1, 2005.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Department of Agriculture Law of the Civil 
5
Administrative
Code of Illinois is amended  by adding Section 
6
205-16 as follows:

    (20 ILCS 205/205-16  new)

    Sec. 205-16. Public information to farmers on encountering 
9
methamphetamine manufacturing sites. The Department of 
10
Agriculture shall conduct a public information  campaign for 
11
farmers on the protocols to be followed when a farmer 
12
encounters a suspected site in which methamphetamine is being 
13
manufactured.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July 
15
1, 2005.
