| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 628

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 628, AS AMENDED, by | ||||||
| 3 | replacing everything after the enacting clause with the | ||||||
| 4 | following:
| ||||||
| 5 | "Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the FY07 | ||||||
| 6 | Cost of Doing Business Adjustment Act. | ||||||
| 7 | Section 5. Definitions. In this Act: | ||||||
| 8 | "Purchase of care contract" means a contract between a | ||||||
| 9 | State officer or agency and a private provider under which | ||||||
| 10 | rates for services are set in accordance with a formula that | ||||||
| 11 | takes personnel, supplies, and other allowable costs into | ||||||
| 12 | account.
| ||||||
| 13 | "Grant" has the meaning ascribed to that term in the | ||||||
| 14 | Illinois Procurement Code.
| ||||||
| 15 | Section 10. Adjustments. Notwithstanding any other | ||||||
| 16 | provision of law,
a 3% increase shall be included, not later | ||||||
| 17 | than 2 weeks after the effective date of this Act, in all | ||||||
| 18 | purchase of care contracts, grant agreements, and provider | ||||||
| 19 | agreements paid under the following line items in the fiscal | ||||||
| 20 | year 2007 State budget for the Department of Human Services and | ||||||
| 21 | the Department of Healthcare and Family Services:
| ||||||
| 22 | Early intervention therapy services and service | ||||||
| 23 | coordination;
| ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | Family case management; | ||||||
| 2 | Domestic violence;
| ||||||
| 3 | Rape victims/prevention; | ||||||
| 4 | Intensive Prenatal Performance Project;
| ||||||
| 5 | School-based health centers;
| ||||||
| 6 | Family planning and contraceptive health services;
| ||||||
| 7 | Lekotek; | ||||||
| 8 | Medicaid therapies for 0-3 year olds; and | ||||||
| 9 | Centers for Independent Living.
| ||||||
| 10 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 11 | becoming law.".
