| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1943

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1943, AS AMENDED, | ||||||
| 3 | by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the | ||||||
| 4 | following:
| ||||||
| 5 | "Section 5. "An Act concerning criminal law, which may be | ||||||
| 6 | referred to as the Patrick Leahy Law", approved August 8, 2005, | ||||||
| 7 | (Public Act 94-487) is amended by adding Section 99 as follows:

| 8 | (P.A. 94-487, Sec. 99 new)
| ||||||
| 9 | Sec. 99. Effective date. This Act (Public Act 94-487) takes | ||||||
| 10 | effect on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 94th | ||||||
| 11 | General Assembly (Senate Bill 1943 of the 94th General | ||||||
| 12 | Assembly).

| 13 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 14 | becoming law.".
