20 ILCS 2310/2310-391 new











    Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Requires the Department of Public Health to develop educational materials on meningitis for distribution in elementary and secondary schools. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning State government.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and 
5
Duties Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is 
6
amended  by adding Section 2310-391 as follows:

    (20 ILCS 2310/2310-391  new)
8
    Sec. 2310-391. Meningitis; educational materials. The 
9
Department shall develop educational materials on meningitis 
10
for distribution in elementary and secondary schools.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
12
becoming law.
