AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The sum of $250,000, or so much of that amount as necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public Health from the General Revenue Fund for a Chronic Kidney Disease Awareness, Testing, Diagnosis and Treatment Program established by Public Act 94-81.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
