Appropriates $6,000,000 from the Rental Housing Support Program Fund to the Department of Revenue for rental assistance and long-term operating support by the Rental Housing Support Program, administered by the Illinois Housing Development Authority. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $6,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Rental Housing Support Program Fund to the Department of Revenue for rental assistance and long-term operating support by the Rental Housing Support Program, administered by the Illinois Housing Development Authority.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July 1, 2008.
