SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $35,000,000 from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory for the Illinois Accelerator Research Center. Appropriates $15,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to DCEO for a grant to the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory for implementation of the Illinois Accelerator Research Center. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $35,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois Bond Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory for the Illinois Accelerator Research Center.
Section 10. The sum of $15,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory for implementation of the Illinois Accelerator Research Center.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
