SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $200,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to Women in Need Growing Stronger (WINGS) for the purpose of providing services, including shelter, education, guidance, and support, to homeless and abused women and children. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $200,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for a grant to Women in Need Growing Stronger (WINGS) for the purpose of providing services, including shelter, education, guidance, and support, to homeless and abused women and children.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
