SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Amends "An Act concerning appropriations", Public Act 95-731, and "An Act concerning appropriations", Public Act 95-734. Reduces or eliminates certain appropriations to certain State agencies. Partially restores certain appropriations to the Department of Human Services that were reduced or vetoed by the Governor. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

 

    Section 5. "An Act concerning appropriations", Public Act 95-731, approved with items vetoed and reduced on July 9, 2008, is amended by changing Section 30 of Article 1 as follows:

 

    (P.A. 95-731, Art. 1, Sec. 30)

    Sec. 30.  The sum of $2,860,000 $5,360,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Agriculture for deposit into the State Cooperative Extension Service Trust Fund for operational expenses and programs at the University of Illinois Cook County Cooperative Extension Service.

    Section 10. "An Act concerning appropriations", Public Act 95-731, approved with items vetoed and reduced on July 9, 2008, is amended by repealing Section 6 of Article 16.

 

    Section 15. "An Act concerning appropriations", Public Act 95-734, approved with items vetoed and reduced on July 10, 2008, is amended by changing Section 10 of Article 10 and Sections 130 and 280 of Article 12 as follows:
