SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Amends "An Act concerning appropriations", Public Act 95-731. Restores an appropriation to the Department of Labor in connection with Displaced Homemaker Grants that was vetoed by the Governor. Effective immediately.

$DOL SUPPLEMENTAL-HOMEMAKERS

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  "An Act concerning appropriations", Public Act 95-731, approved with items vetoed and reduced on July 9, 2008, is amended by changing Section 10 of Article 24 as follows:

    (P.A. 95-731, Art. 24, Sec. 10)

    Sec. 10. The following named amount of $621,300 $0, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Labor for Displaced Homemaker Grants.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
