Appropriates $10,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services, Healthy Families and Parents Too Soon budget lines, for community-based home-visiting programs for parents of young, high-risk children. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services, Healthy Families and Parents Too Soon budget lines, for community-based home-visiting programs for parents of young, high-risk children.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
