| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 513

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 513 on page 3, line | ||||||
| 3 | 1, after "system", by inserting the following:

| 4 | "and may be connected thereto via any publicly owned | ||||||
| 5 | right-of-way, easement, or other property owned by the State or | ||||||
| 6 | any municipality or political subdivision of the State.
| ||||||
| 7 | (c) Any party using a sanitary sewer system as described in | ||||||
| 8 | subsection (b) of this Section shall reimburse the original | ||||||
| 9 | provider of the system, whether a public or private party, for | ||||||
| 10 | a pro rata share of the costs of construction, and may utilize | ||||||
| 11 | the system regardless of any reservation of capacity that | ||||||
| 12 | remains unused for 5 years after construction".
