| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2426

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2426 on page 2, by | ||||||
| 3 | inserting immediately below line 20 the following:

| 4 | "(a-5) Telecommunications carriers, commercial mobile | ||||||
| 5 | service providers, and providers of information services, | ||||||
| 6 | including, but not limited to, Internet service providers and | ||||||
| 7 | hosting service providers, are not liable under this Section by | ||||||
| 8 | virtue of the transmission, storage, or caching of electronic | ||||||
| 9 | communications or messages of others or by virtue of the | ||||||
| 10 | provision of other related telecommunications, commercial | ||||||
| 11 | mobile services, or information services used by others in | ||||||
| 12 | violation of this Section.".
