SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Glenn E. Clark of Chicago, who passed
4 away on March 27, 2007; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Glenn Clark was born on August 14, 1958 in
6 Chicago; his parents were Henry and Carolyn Clark; and
 
7     WHEREAS, Glenn Clark attended Harper High School where he
8 was heavily involved in sports, especially track, basketball,
9 and baseball; he also loved playing tennis; he led his high
10 school baseball team, the Harper Cardinals to a 10-1 season in
11 1976; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Glenn Clark gave his life to Christ at Fellowship
13 Baptist Church at the age of 12; he rededicated his faith when
14 he joined Victory Apostolic Church in Chicago Heights, under
15 the pastorate of District Elder Andrew D. Singleton, Jr.; and
 
16     WHEREAS, Glenn E. Clark leaves to cherish his memory, his
17 loving wife of 24 years, Margaret; his children, Jarvis,
18 Jeremy, and Joslyn; his mother, Carolyn Clark; his brothers,
19 Derrick, Brian, Marvin (Nadine), Craig (Shirley), Vince
20 (Cheryl), and Shawn (Tamika); his sisters, Christina, Angela,
21 and Dorenda; his father-in-law, Robert, and mother-in-law, Ora

1 Reeder; Carol Moss; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and
2 friends; therefore, be it
 
3     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
4 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
5 his family and friends, the passing of Glenn E. Clark; and be
6 it further
 
7     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8 presented to the family of Glenn E. Clark as a symbol of our
9 sympathy.
