SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $950,000 to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to develop and administer work therapy pilot programs for homeless adults.  Effective July 1, 2009.

$DCEO-WORK THERAPY PROGRAMS

 

 

 

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The amount of $950,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to develop and administer 3 pilot programs that use work therapy to assist homeless adults transition into employment.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
