AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1196

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1196 on page 2, by 
3
replacing lines 3 through 8 with the following:
4
    "The Healthcare Provider Relief Fund is not subject to 
5
administrative charges or charge-backs, including, but not 
6
limited to, those authorized under Section 8h of the State 
7
Finance Act."; and
 
8
on page 3, by replacing lines 12 through 14 with the following:
9
"the Long-Term Care Provider Fund; 27.5% of the moneys received 
10
by the Department under this Act shall be paid into the 
11
Healthcare Provider Relief Fund; and 27.5% of the moneys 
12
received under this Act shall be remitted to the Illinois 
13
Department of Public Health for support of tobacco prevention, 
14
cessation, and control programs in accordance with the Centers 
15
for Disease Control and Prevention's 2007 Best Practices for 
16
Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programs.".
