| 1 | | AN ACT concerning finance.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Grant Funds Recovery Act is amended |
| 5 | | by changing Section 3 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (30 ILCS 705/3) (from Ch. 127, par. 2303)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 3. Application. Except as otherwise provided by this |
| 8 | | Section,
all grant funds are subject to the provisions of this |
| 9 | | Act. This Act does
not empower any grantor agency to make |
| 10 | | grants.
|
| 11 | | This Act does not apply to grant funds that are granted |
| 12 | | without limitation
or condition imposed by law, other than the |
| 13 | | general limitation that such
funds be used for public purposes.
|
| 14 | | This Act does not apply to funds disbursed pursuant to a |
| 15 | | statutory formula
for distribution.
|
| 16 | | This Act does not apply to grants made pursuant to Sections |
| 17 | | 1.25 and 3.31
of "An Act making appropriations to various |
| 18 | | agencies", Public Act 84-110,
approved July 25, 1985. |
| 19 | | This Act does not apply to funds disbursed pursuant to a |
| 20 | | contract between the Department of Transportation and any other |
| 21 | | highway authority for the purposes set forth in Section 4-409 |
| 22 | | of the Illinois Highway Code or any airport owner, operator, or |
| 23 | | controller as set forth in Section 34 of the Illinois |
