| AN ACT concerning revenue.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Cigarette Tax Act is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 5 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (35 ILCS 130/5) (from Ch. 120, par. 453.5)

| Sec. 5. Printing tax stamps. The
The Department shall adopt |
| 8 |
| the design or
designs of the tax stamps
or alternative tax |
| 9 |
| indicia
and shall procure the printing of such stamps
or |
| 10 |
| alternative tax indicia
in such amounts and denominations as it |
| 11 |
| deems necessary to provide for the
affixation of the proper |
| 12 |
| amount of tax stamps
or alternative tax indicia
to each |
| 13 |
| original package of
cigarettes. |
